![]() Warner Home Video Debuts Monumental Box Set for Devoted Harry Potter Fans Read the full, detailed press release below and keep an eye out for more bonus feature reveals. Still, I think Iâll probably have to wait for an Amazon lightning deal/winning lottery ticket to purchase the set. Given the sheer amount of material included here, that price sounds about right. All of this can be yours for the low, low price of $499.99. gift box, TBA memorabilia, a map of Hogwarts, concept art prints, and more. Apparently the other new bonus materials will be revealed throughout the summer at, leading up to the home video release (the Harry Potter marketing machine does not stop). Also included is the 19 lbs. is remaining coy on those five hours of never-before-seen bonus features, but they did reveal that the final two âCreating the World of Harry Potterâ features entitled âStoryâ and âGrowing Upâ will be included. The limited and numbered set contains each film on Blu-ray, DVD and UltraViolet Digital Copy, as well as all the special features included on the previous home video releases. Hit the jump for much more including a trailer for the box set. announced that the Harry Potter Wizards Collection will be available in stores and online on September 7th, and revealed more details about the set. Details were scarce at the time beyond the fact that all the films would be included on 31 discs, with over five hours of never-before-seen footage thrown in as well. Sure enough, early this month a ridiculously intricate Harry Potter Wizards Collection went up on Amazing of course!. There is no reason both download format codes couldn't be provided, and cross linked via a clearing DB that would only allow the purchaser to activate the one format of their choice.Iâve been holding out on buying any of the Harry Potter films on Blu-ray in the hopes that a big, ultimate box set would be released at some point down the road. ![]() Until some one comes up with a lossless conversion tool the current best way to object to this misbranding and clearly inferior solution is to protest with your purse - refuse to buy them. I suspect we will see the same with HP tomorrow. Note that GreenLantern digital on iTunes store is an SD resolution and Flixster/Ultraviolet is HD. ![]() I choose to send the disks back to Amazon. The digital protection scheme they are using currently doesn't allow conversion. One wonders ifAmazon with their forked Android OS wont soon throw in with them? They claim a viewer for iOS is coming - however the cumbersome management scheme seems prohibitively complex (see post above this one). Seems its a sort of alternative service for the Android, and others to be added platforms. Flixster and Ultraviolet are advertising their service as "iTunes for the rest of us". I've done some further research since my orginal post in the thread found above. So far, I've not been able to find a way or get a definitive answer from Flixster (1-41) or Warner Brothers (1-81) on how to import the digital copy into my iTunes library, which may not even be possible (through legitimate means). Since DH2 was released at midnight, I've already downloaed the movie twice since the first copy was corrupted and wouldn't play in Flixster Collections on my MacBook. Keep in mind that you're allowed to download a movie title only five times with the redemption code that came with your blu-ray/dvd/uv combo pack. However, if you wish to rewatch the movie at a later time, it must be downloaded again through the Flixster app after re-installation. In-app deletion is a forthcoming feature with Flixster. Here's the fun part in order to delete the movie from your idevice, you must uninstall the app. Since I've recently downgraded my data package from unlimited to 200mb/month, this isn't an option. The same can be done with Flixster Collections on your MacBook or iMac.Īccording to Flixster's support pages, the current app can be used to download the movie for later viewing or to stream the movie with a wifi or 3g connection. Flixster is an app in which movies can be purchased and downloaded to your idevice.
